Course Description

This course is intended to expose learners to the cultural diversity that can be found in a place of work. This unit will discuss cultural diversity and provide basic skills on how to work within a multicultural environment. This course will look at developing leadership skills and communication skills for multicultural businesses.

Learning Outcomes of Programme

LO1: Recognise cultural diversity at the place and work
LO2: Identify different customs and tradition and how such diversity can effect communication.
LO3: Develop the core leadership, intercultural and communication skills required in a multicultural business environment
LO4: Identify diverse team behaviour and skills

Minimum entry requirements for Programme

Secondary School Level of Education
Good working knowledge of English

 

Maturity Clause

Applicants who have attained the age of 23 years and over, presenting their application under the maturity clause, are expected to present previously obtained certification, with an overview of their academic preparation for this MQF Level 5 course. Their current and past related work experience will also be given value through the interview which will be held. Applicants must demonstrate that they can start successfully and complete it with benefit.
