Entry Requirements Level 4 Qualification or Maturity Clause 23 years and older with an overview of their academic preparation for this Level 5 course. Current and past related work experience will also be given value through an interview which will be held. Applicants must demonstrate that they can start the course and complete with benefit.

Course Description

The learners on this course will explore various styles of presenting thus helping them to choose the one that fits best. During this short course, the causes of fear of public speaking are addressed and learners will discuss ways on how such fears can be overcome. The final goal is for students to be able to speak in public with more confidence and excitement.

 

Learning Outcomes of Programme

LO1: Identify different styles of presentation
LO:2 Explore ways on how best to present yourself.
LO3: Recognise the causes of fear within public speaking and how these fears can be overcome
LO4: Develop impactful talks both in person and virtual while minimizing anxiety creating a feeling of excitement
