Course Description
Effective communication is key for a successful business. In this short course we will be looking at different types of approaches, frameworks, and tools for communicating effectively. This will aid the learner to understand his own communication strengths which in turn will aid in communicating more effectively with co-workers.
Learning Outcomes of Programme
LO1: Discover own communication strengths to build effective relationships in one’s professional and personal lives.
LO2: Analyse different approaches, frameworks, and tools for communicating effectively.
LO3: Identify the difference between verbal and non-verbal communication with a focus on the importance of writing effectively
LO4: Discuss the barriers that limit effective communication between co-workers and explore ways on how they can be overcome
Minimum entry requirements for Programme
Secondary School Level of Education
Good working knowledge of English
Maturity Clause
Applicants who have attained the age of 23 years and over, presenting their application under the maturity clause, are expected to present previously obtained certification, with an overview of their academic preparation for this MQF Level 5 course. Their current and past related work experience will also be given value through the interview which will be held. Applicants must demonstrate that they can start successfully and complete it with benefit.
