This part-time training programme, aims to provide participants with a broad picture of the numerous and diverse areas of management theory, functions, concept, content and also their application. The field of Management is very diverse, dynamic and in a constant state of evolution and change; hence the importance of keeping up to date with historical aspects and future directions need to be focused upon by those who choose a career in this field.

This is a 40 hr guided learning course. Students need to invest further hours which will include private study and home assignments.

Learning Outcome 3: Apply different management analysis tools which aid effective management
Learning Outcome 4: Deal efficiently with various dynamic practices of management
Learning Outcome 5: Apply the necessary leadership styles to deal with various occurrences within own organisation.
Learning Outcome 6: Contribute to the improvement of organisational fibre within the entity they manage, underpinned by aspects of team building, delegation, and motivation

Course participants may be awarded either an MCAST Certificate of Attendance or an MCAST Certificate of Achievement.

If the student intends to obtain a Certificate of Achievement, she/he is required to sit for an assessment/s. Assessment/s may take various forms such as a home assignment, class assignment, practical test and time constrained test. However, the assessment/s is not compulsory and an applicant may choose not to sit for it.
