Course Description

This program will provide its participants with basic elements of management such as Leadership, Communication, Project Management, Emotional Intelligence, Decision Making strategies and people management skills. Any organization is made up of the Human Element, Physical Assets as well as virtual elements such as culture, intangible structures and shadow systems.

The success of any organization depends heavily on the management of all physical and virtual elements. Therefore a basic grasp of all such elements is indispensable to ensure the organization’s continued success and the achievement of its goals. This program will provide an opportunity for an organization’s employees to understand elementary business management concepts that may then be implemented in their place of work.

 

Learning Outcomes

  1. Communicate effectively at different organizational levels and be able to deal with conflict.
  2. Apply leadership skills via the application of appropriate leadership styles to accomplish goals.
  3. Recognise the fundamentals of project management and apply project management concepts in a range of tasks.
  4. Apply the basics elements of Business Management at the place of work
  5. Take informed and logical decisions on work related issues.
Method of Assessment:‚  TCA, THA, Presentation & Group work

Entry Requirements

No academic pre-requisites are required. However, participants will be expected to have a good command of spoken and written English.

Refund Policy

Refund can only be issued in full to a Student whose course has not commenced according to schedule.

For any other reasons, the refund provided shall have an administration fee deducted, which amounts to two-hundred-fifty (250) euro.
