|Comments (entry requirements etc)||This Award provides individuals with the knowledge and skills required to become a qualified VRT tester. The course covers a range of topics related to vehicle inspection, including legal requirements for VRT testing, health and safety regulations, and testing procedures for various vehicle components such as steering and suspension, brakes, lights, and emissions.
Throughout the course, students participate in practical exercises and simulations to gain hands-on experience in carrying out VRT tests and identifying faults. They also receive training in customer service and communication skills to effectively interact with vehicle owners.
Upon completion of each module within the course, students will be assessed on that particular module to demonstrate their understanding and competency in that module. Successful completion of all assessments/exams is necessary for obtaining the VRT tester licence from Transport Malta.
|Minimum entry requirements for Programme||
A person needs to have a minimum of 3 years certified work (Jobsplus work history) experience in the auto repair sector or a level 3 diploma in Motor Vehicle Engineering
