Course Description

The proposed program aims to address the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the automotive air-conditioning sector, driven by the rising complexity of modern vehicle climate control systems and stringent environmental regulations. As motor vehicles become more sophisticated and environmentally conscious, there is a critical need for technicians who are proficient in both the technical and regulatory aspects of air-conditioning systems. This program is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the components, operation, and maintenance of automotive air-conditioning systems, while emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship through the proper handling and recovery of refrigerants. The industry, has expressed a clear requirement for such a training program. Furthermore, this training aligns with the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA) industry requirements, which has now come in force. By providing in-depth knowledge of the latest technologies and compliance with relevant legislation, the program seeks to prepare students for successful careers in this essential and evolving field, ensuring they can meet industry standards and contribute to sustainable practices.
