Course Description
The course involves a number of practical exercises, slideshows with lectures, demonstrations, and informal class discussions. All demonstrations have visual aids, images and samples to enlighten students with more detailed understanding on other areas which where mentioned in the first course. The students will be later instructed to know how to design spaces such entryway, hallway, stairway, corridors and landings. They will earn level of detailing in accessories and decorative. The students will gain more knowledge on open spaces: ergonomically and practicalities. Also they will be able design multifuctional spaces to suite the modern day lifestyle. The students will acquire skills which enable them to understand what entertainment areas means which fulfilling clients needs and wants, designing home bars, gamesroom, outdoor area, pool area, yards and terrace areas. The students will also be assigned to design an apartment for a specific family, using all the information they’ve learnt from the previous and during the current course.

LO1 Define an in-between space such as entryway , hallway, stairway, corridor and landing area.
LO2 Develop an open plan space or combined living, dining and kitchen area.
LO3 Design a multi-functional space to suit the modern -day lifestyle.
LO4 Design an entertainment area such as outdoor areas and home bars.
