This is a 60 hr guided learning course. Students need to invest a further 40 hrs which will include private study and 2 home assignments.
Lessons are held twice a week at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Paola between 1730 hrs and 2030 hrs. Each lesson is of 3 hours duration.
The course covers the Practical and Technological aspects on lighting and power circuits of an Electrical Installation according to IEEE Regulations and Requirements. It is intended for students who wish to acquire an understanding of electrical wiring in domestic installations. This course serves as the ideal introduction to the Wireman’s license A course.

If the student intends to obtain a Certificate of Achievement, she/he is required to sit for an assessment/s. Assessment/s may take various forms such as a home assignment, class assignment, practical test and time constrained test. However, the assessment/s is not compulsory and an applicant may choose not to sit for it.
