The course is designed for those wishing to build on their skills acquired through competence in the workshop. Those who have worked or are
currently working in the industry and are looking to refresh their skills, progress or change employer, would benefit from this course which will give evidence needed to increase job prospects

LO 1 - List the properties of aluminium and its alloys comparing to steel
LO 2 - Identify the issues regarding weldability of aluminium alloys and steels
LO 3 – Recognise the main problems that can arise during design and production of aluminium and steel structures
LO 4 - Identify the suitable welding processes for joining of aluminium and steels
