N.B. Kindly note that applicants will be requested to register for their attendance on Classter. Failure to achieve the full enrolment will entitle the lecturer to exclude student from classes and no certification can be issued. A minimum attendance of 70% is required for certification attainment.

Course Description

In this course students will become familiar with the following:

 

 

    • Observe safe working practices

 

    • Contribute to effective human relationships on board ships – Human relationships on board ship

 

    • Understand orders and be understood in relation to shipboard duties

 

    • Comply with emergency procedures

 

    • Take precautions to prevent pollution of the marine environment

 

    • Contribute to effective human relationships onboard ship (concluded) – Social responsibilities

 

 

Applicants should be 16 years of age and over

 

An MCAST Certificate will be awarded to those students who have attended 80% and more of the lectures and passed their examination

 

Written assessment at the end of the course

 

Course notes are included in the course fee

 

Applicants are required to forward a copy of their ID Card both sides to [email protected]
