MCAST has signed an agreement with Jiangsu Vocational College of Medicine to set up the Zheng He International Silk Road Centre to offer courses in traditional Chinese medicine.

Lectures will be delivered at MCAST Paola – Centre for Chinese Medicine

Lectures are planned to be delivered in the evenings from 17:30 till 20:30 with the possibility of having Saturday morning sessions.

Courses will run for 10 weeks each.

Description: 

Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment refers to all the therapeutic techniques and methods applied externally on the body without intake of medicine, such as massage, cupping, moxibustion, scraping, ear points, traditional sports therapy and so on. This course mainly introduces the operation of traditional Chinese treatment techniques. Through the study of this course, students can practice all the techniques, and know about some clinical diagnosis and treatment methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM}, and have the ability to help people to carry out functional rehabilitation or improve fitness.

LOl        Apply common Chinese traditional therapeutic techniques

L02        Identify traditional Chinese medicine clinical diagnosis and treatment thinking and methods

L03       Use traditional rehabilitation techniques for disease prevention and health care

L04       Use traditional rehabilitation techniques to help and guide patients to carry out functional rehabilitation
