Course Description
This course is intended for Learning Support Educators who wish to delve deeper into inclusive education concepts and theories to lead to better inclusive practices. Throughout, the course aims at addressing contemporary issues within local society to ensure an inclusive educational setting, guided by local curricular documents and policies. This course offers learners in depth understanding and hands on practice.

Unit Title
LO1: Apply concepts and theories to the various processes of cognitive learning and profound learning difficulties including gifted and talented learners and high ability learners
LO2: Determine ways to embrace all cognitive learning needs including gifted and talented learners
LO3: Develop skills to facilitate learning of students with cognitive learning needs
LO4: Apply strategies that support learners with different cognitive learning needs
LO1: Construct a wide understanding of physical and psychological diversity
LO2: Apply pedagogical tools and strategies to include learners with physical and psychological diversity
LO3: Address the needs of learners with sensory impairments and Learners with emotional and behavioral challenges through practical methods
LO4: Creating physically & psychologically inclusive practices for educational inclusive settings
LO1: Defining and determining bias in local communities to lead to sensitization
LO2: Creating a wider understanding of what constitutes a multicultural community
