Study Programme Description:

This part-time course in portfolio development will bring together students of different artistic disciplines enrolled in a relevant MQF L4 qualification and students that have qualifications applicable for entry into any MCAST ICA MQF L6 programme, where they will be taught the basic and common principles governing portfolio development. Students enrolled in this part-time course will then be divided into subgroups according to artistic discipline, each subgroup being led by a main professional with other professionals being able to join as required, where they will go into the specifics of portfolio development pertinent to their respective artistic discipline. It is envisaged that in this manner students in the various subgroups will receive multidisciplinary input into the making of their personal portfolios. Concluding sessions will bring all students together in one group where they will be able to constructively critique each other’s portfolio that would have been prepared during the various sessions making up this part-time course.

Study Programme Learning Outcomes:

LO1 Select works to be included in the portfolio.
