Course Description
This Level 1 course in Occupational Health and Safety is designed to introduce learners to the basic principles of maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. It aims to provide an understanding of the key hazards that may be present in workplaces, the importance of health and safety practices, and the roles and responsibilities of employers and employees in promoting workplace safety.
At this level, learners will develop a foundation of knowledge about workplace risks and safe work practices. The course emphasizes practical skills and awareness that are applicable across all industries, including manufacturing, construction, engineering, and office environments.
This introductory training supports the development of a positive safety culture and equips learners with the tools to identify hazards, understand simple risk control measures, and contribute to a safer workplace.
