Course Description
In this unit the learner will become familiar with different areas concerning Interior Design and Decoration. Not only at home but they will have a better understanding different areas such commercial premises and as well exterior such terraces and landscaping. In the first and second unit of the previous courses were more targeted on general rules, more one should do and not, and some visual tricks. In this unit the learner will understand better the importance of materials/ finishes which also include the choices of colours and textures: space in retail areas vis a vie at home. In this unit the learner will be become alert more on the communication skill in interior design and decoration. Since the learner have already learnt how to do perspective, now the learner will also experience different medias such as detailing and different other methods how to present their own projects on paper and boards.

Structure and Assessment
Course delivery is blended, and includes on-line or face-to-face lessons along with practical assignments where applicable.
Duration – 26 Hours
Note: Additional hours as directed by the Lecturer need to be dedicated by way of Self-Study / Research / Assignments / Projects / Presentations / Group-Work or similar.
Assessments
These may be either Home-Based Assignments or Time-Constrained Assessments, on both an Individual Basis, as well as on a Group-Level Basis according to the Units being assessed, and may also include evaluation of hands-on practice.
