The course is designed to introduce plumbers and pipe fitters with the various aquatherm products related to industrial applications and standards. The course include hands-on practice using cutting and peeling tools, installation of fastenning techniques, welding saddles, flanged joints, the sliding sleeve technology and the fusion welding equipment
This is a 16 hour course. Lessons are held as indicated on the prospectus and website.
The course focuses on hand-on skills to fabricate pipe spools using aquatherm fusion welded pipes. This include techniques required to fabricate pipe spools to an acceptable accuracy, with clean cuts prepared for fusion welding, the operation of the fusion welding machine and knowledge on the range of aquatherm materials for specific systems.

An MCAST Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all students attending more than 80% of lectures.
There are no summative assessments in this course.
Learners are responsible to get their own personal protective equipment as indicated by the lecturer during the course.
