Course Description
In accordance to the current national and EU legislative provisions as implemented through Subsidiary Legislation 430.08 of the Laws of Malta, Professional Users and Distributors of Plant Protection Products (PPPs) are required to undergo training to acquire sufficient to knowledge regarding the sustainable use of Plant Protection Products.
In this course learners will be trained on the major legislation related to PPPs together with the risks and hazards related to handling, use and storage of these products. The unit will then proceed to cover human and environmental health related to PPPs and how such products should be used safely and efficiently.
*The course includes a Supervised Placement / Practice Hours in a Distributor Outlet.*

Entry Requirements
Persons over 16 years of age who are Numerate, and Literate in both Maltese and English.
