MCAST has been a great place to help launch my career. The lecturers here are great, and go out of their way to assist students. The facilities are of the highest standards, especially the library –where one can get all the material and assistance required to succeed in their programme of study. After studying the request from Corinthia, MG2i designed an accredited course aimed at upskilling the employees in the area of Rooms Maintenance. This course was intended for candidates who wish to progress in their career as technicians in hospitality sector in particular maintaining high standards. The course included a variety of disciplines including fundamentals of electricity, basic plumbing and related rooms maintenance which are carried out during different shifts.. This bespoke course provided candidates with solid technical competence and understanding of the regulations and health and safety requirements governing the electrical installation industry.

The Environment Resource Authority requested a basic course in horticulture aimed at people who are working in the sector. This course helped to cement theory with best practice guidelines. For this course, we engaged a highly professional and experienced person who could relate with the audience by sharing his vast experience. The students were introduced to the basics of horticulture and landscaping in a real environment and all candidates were expected to practice.

After studying the request of Farsons, MG2i designed an accredited course aimed at upskilling the employees from Level 3 to Level 4 by following an agreed set of already approved UNITS. This course was intended for candidates who wished to progress in their career as technicians in Industry in the area of Manufacturing Technology. The course was designed to include requirements as set by the client for Electrical and Mechanical technologies and including Wireman’s Single Phase (1) and (2). This bespoke course provided candidates with solid technical competence and an understanding of the regulations and health and safety requirements governing the electrical installation industry. Also, this course contained modules related to Engineering and Electronic Control Systems that gave candidates a solid grounding in engineering. Apart from theory, candidates received exposure to Mechanical and Electrical Workshop Practice for a more holistic training approach.

The Waste Serve Malta requested a practical course in storekeeping for its staff working in different facilities. The course was delivered part-time in the evenings. Our course included practical and theoretical aspects of Storekeeping, reflecting modern techniques and technologies.
