Course Description

This course is designed to meet the needs of staff and organisations who want to understand what introducing safety management into CAMO means. Taking our world leading experience and leadership in safety management, the course will provide you with knowledge you need in order to promote the management of safety in the continuing airworthiness management environment. Tangible benefits have been identified by employees of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul approval holders, Maintenance organisations, Operators and Regulatory staff from National Aviation Authorities.

There is no question regarding both the need and importance of effectively managing the performance of Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). Translating this into appropriate training for specific job roles, results in greater awareness of the process of engagement and understanding regarding the management of the maintenance activities across the business.

  4. Have an awareness of the structure composition and impact of EASA Part M Maintenance Planning Regulations
  5. Understand Organisational Roles and Responsibilities Compliant with the Management of the Maintenance Programme.
  6. Understand the development and approval of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP).
  7. Be able to understand the role of Part M CAMO Functionality related to Maintenance Planning and to have the knowledge to avoid or mitigate problems.
