Course Description

The Master by Research (MRes) programme provides the learner with sound practical knowledge and experience in preparation for a research career, as well as with preparation and training for doctoral research. Learners will have demonstrated originality in the application of knowledge, and they will understand how the boundaries of knowledge are advanced through research. They will be able to deal with complex issues both systematically and creatively, and they will show originality in tackling and solving applied research-related challenges.

Entry Requirements

(a) A relevant MQF/EQF Level 6 degree at second class, OR

(b) An MQF/EQF Level 6 degree, which is regarded by the Master’s Degree Committee as equivalent to an Honours degree such as professional qualifications subject, plus a portfolio evidencing relevant work experience for at least three years.

Refund Policy

Refund can only be issued in full to applicants whose course has not commenced according to schedule. For any other reasons, the refund provided shall have an administration fee deducted, which amounts to two hundred fifty (250) euro.
