Programme Description

The Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science presents a multidisciplinary focus to help learners understand the relationship between health and human performance. As an academic program, the Master of Science will introduce translational research and provide essential foundations from the bases of physiology, biomechanics, motor behaviour, and psychology. Using the social ecological approach to addressing the needs for health and human performance for the workforce in Malta, the program recognizes societal needs, introduces evidence-based strategies for intervention, and evaluates the impact of these services on health outcomes and productivity.

Entry Requirements

• Relevant degree
• MQF Level 5 qualification and adequate professional experience are also considered

Payment terms:

EU or EEA Nationals (total course fee 5,500 euro)

• Payment 1: Deposit of 500 euro
• Payment 2: 2,500 euro payment before course commencement
• Payment 3: 2,500euro payment at the beginning of second year

Non-EU/EEA Nationals (total course fee 7,900 euro)

• Payment 1: Deposit of 500 euro
• Payment 2: 3,700 euro payment before course commencement
• Payment 3: 3,700 euro payment at the beginning of second year

Refund Policy

1 A full refund of the Fees paid will be issued only where the Programme does not commence within six (6) months of the Student’s first payment.

2 Where the Student fails to satisfy the entry requirements or maturity interview (as confirmed by the MCAST Registrar), the Fees paid to date will be refunded, less a non-refundable administrative fee of €150.

3 The deposit is non-refundable, except where a full refund is due under Point 1.

4 Students holding conditional acceptance who do not meet the final entry requirements are not entitled to a refund and remain liable for the Fees mentioned in their Student Payment Agreement (contract).
