Course Description
This award equips educational leaders with the necessary technical understanding of the internal evaluation process as a means of quality improvement within their institution. The award goes into how to implement and monitor the continuous cycle of internal evaluation, to systematically inquire into and to evaluate the effectiveness of policies, programmes, and practices. The programme equips students with the necessary knowledge to recognise different ways through which internal evaluation complements the external review process conducted by the national regulatory authority.
Overall Learning Outcomes of Programme
LO 1 Evaluate critically the internal evaluation process as a strategic tool for continuous quality improvement within educational institutions.
LO 2 Develop and implement evidence-based internal evaluation strategies by documenting stakeholder feedback thus guiding informed decision-making.
LO 3 Lead and facilitate collaborative internal review processes fostering a shared understanding of institutional strengths and areas for development.
LO 4 Direct and monitor the implementation of action plans derived from internal evaluation findings in alignment with external regulatory requirements.
Minimum entry requirements for Programme
Any Level 5 Qualification in relevant areas such as childcare, kindergarten & early years qualifications, child development and psychology or a CACHE course.
