Overall objectives
This course main goal is to prepare individuals with the skills and knowledge required to carry out wiring installation of marine low voltage electrical systems and components, including dash board instrumentation, switch and fuse panels, small machinery, lighting and navigation aids as found in small vessels. This unit applies to individuals who undertake installation of marine electrical systems and components in a marine environment. It is intended for those who want to seek capabilities in electrical systems and related instrumentation found on small boats including electrical power requirements. Learners will learn setup, installation and power systems related to battery power, connection procedures in electrical systems.
