This course is designed for those working within the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry and / or aspiring to work within the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry who need to meet the legal requirements for working with Fluorinated Gases, or F–Gases, and other ozone depleting substances.
This Course does not award the Category-License issued by MCCAA, but prepares participants who may not have had prior formal training to familiarize themselves with the regulatory requirements and practices of the Category Licenses.
The Course is designed to provide the knowledge and practical skills to undertake leak checking, recovery, installation, servicing and maintenance of stationary refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump equipment containing refrigerants.
