Enrolment Conditions
- Applications remain open throughout the year for course published on the course guide for applicants of 16 year of age and over.
- Applicants are responsible for providing a valid email address and contact number and for checking their emails regularly.
- Applicants are required to have a valid EID account.
- For applications received between March 2025 & end of August 2025, courses are targeted to be confirmed to start between September 2025 & February 2026.
- For applications received between January 2026 & end August 2026, courses are targeted to be confirmed between September 2026 & February 2027.
- Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- No applications for short-courses will be accepted without full payment.
- Cheques are to be made payable to ‘MCAST Gateway to Industry Ltd‘.
- Applicants are expected to read the CHECKOUT conditions carefully before proceeding to submit an online application/payment.
- Applicants are encouraged to read the course descriptions and the entry requirements on the website.
Cancellation Policy
- No refunds will be accepted should the applicant apply for the incorrect course.
- A full refund of the fee will be affected by MG2i in the event that the Institution is unable to communicate the schedule of the course within the mentioned periods specified under Enrollment Conditions.
- The Institution reserves the right not to commence a course if there are insufficient number of applications or for any other operational requirements deemed important by the Institution, in which case the Institution will inform the applicants accordingly.
- Courses with published targeted schedule on the website are subject to change by the Institution according to operational requirements. No requests for refunds will be entertained because of such change.
- Once MG2i & the Institution commit to deliver the course, the full value of the course becomes due by the Applicant, irrespective of failures, dropouts, expulsions or other various reasons.
- Failure to attend the course as communicated, the course fee is not refundable.
- The decision which method of delivery is most suitable to any course or part thereof is the sole prerogative of the Institution and may change according to circumstances. No requests for refunds will be accepted due to changes in method of delivery.
Maturity Clause
Maturity clause is applicable to applicants who do not possess the exact entry requirements published on website. Courses might indicate specific entry requirements whilst other courses might indicate specific entry requirements or maturity clause.

Notification of Schedules
All eligible applicants will receive an email indicating the course schedule and location. Once MG2I records that an email notification has been sent, applicants are responsible to take note of the course schedule and other details.
*Cancellations of lectures will be communicated to students via email and/or SMS as per contact details provided by the applicants. There could be instances where the lecturer notifies directly the students.
Discounts:
Senior citizens (aged 60+), holders of disability card and MCAST full-time students are eligible to a 50% discount on part-time courses that are free from materials and consumables. Otherwise a discount of 25% would be applicable. For Level 5 Diplomas with 60 Credits a 30% discount applies. Candidates are to present their valid ID Card / Student Card to be eligible for the discount. No discounts apply for courses with fees of 50 euros. Alumni applicants are entitled to a 15% discount on Diplomas, Degrees and Master programmes. Kindly contact our office on [email protected]

Bundle Offers
Bundles consist of modular stand-alone courses building more knowledge at each stage. The completion of the entire bundle may not occur within the same period. The courses will commence based on the viability of the number of applications received. For each course students will be awarded a separate course certificate.

Part-time courses fees for International Applicants
- Non-EU | Non-EEA Applicants for Part-time courses Procedure:
Applicants for part-time courses at MG2i who are not residents of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) are advised that the contact hours of part-time courses do not fulfil the requirements for a student visa. Therefore, applicants requiring a student visa and not residing in Malta are directed to seek assistance via this email address [email protected]
Certification
Successful completion of MCAST-certified courses entitles the student to either a Certificate of Attendance or a Certificate of Achievement.
Certificate of Attendance:
A certificate will be issued if the student attends 70% of the course duration
Certificate of Achievement
To obtain a Certificate of Achievement, a student must:
- Attend a minimum of 70% of the course, and
- Successfully pass the relevant test/assessment.
Students whose attendance falls below 70% of the course duration will not be eligible for any certificate.
Absences due to sickness – a medical certificate must be presented to the lecturer and to the course coordinator.
