Course Description
The purpose of this programme is to introduce hands-on model building and solving with COMSOL Multiphysics® simulation software to scientists, engineers and others interested in exploring the behaviour of different physical structures on a computer, before actually going in the workshop or laboratory and trying to build the object.
The models presented in this programme are built within the context of the physical world (applied physics) and are explored in the light of first principles analysis techniques. As with any other method of problem solution, the information contained in the solution from these computer simulations is as good as with material coefficients and the fundamental assumptions employed in building the models. The primary advantage is combining computer simulations, and the first principles analysis is that the modeler can try as many different approaches as possible to the solution of the same problems needed to get it right (or at least close to right) in the workshop or laboratory the first time that device components are fabricated.
This course embraces the forefront of digital engineering and scientific discovery. In an era demanding rapid innovation and unprecedented insight, harnessing the power of advanced simulation is key to unlocking breakthroughs. This course plunges participants into the world of high-fidelity virtual prototyping, where complex, real-world Multiphysics interactions can be accurately modelled, predicted, and optimized using sophisticated computational tools. Students will move beyond traditional limitations, leveraging the digital twin concept to test scenarios impossible in the lab, and gain a competitive edge by transforming complex challenges into actionable, data-driven solutions faster than ever before.
