Reports to: The Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration of the recruitment and selection activities of the Company by providing administrative and other support throughout the whole process from vacancy identification to job posting to onboarding of selected employees;
- Handling candidate applications and coordinating interview processes;
- Preparing, issuing, and renewing employment contracts. Where applicable acquire work permits and liaise with Government departments as required. Managing administrative processes for employees leaving the company;
- Drafting and maintaining job descriptions;
- Maintaining and updating accurately employee information and HR documentation;
- Ensuring that employee information is maintained and processed in a strictly confidential manner and by the Data Protection Act;
- Monitoring attendance and informing management accordingly;
- Developing and updating HR policies in line with company goals;
- Serving as a source of information for internal and external HR inquiries;
- Coordinating probation period reviews and performance appraisal meetings;
- Planning and executing employee training events;
- Maintaining a filing and archiving system for HR related documentation;
- Perform such other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time and the scope of this job may be subject to change as necessitated by the company.
Requirements:
- A qualification minimum at MQF Level 5, in Human Resource management or similar is required;
- Fluency in Maltese and English is a must;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Computer literacy (MS Office Tools).
- Well organised, accurate and able to work under pressure;
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills;
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines;
- Able to work well as part of a team.
