Course Rationale
IPC certification and training is essential in today’s electronic industry. The course focuses on training the participant on IPC standards such as J-STD-001. The training programme uses soldering labs with all the necessary facilities and demonstartions as well as classroom instructions to teach the standard criteria.
Learning Outcomes
LO 1. Understand the general requirements, such as safety, tools and electrostatic discharge (ESD)
LO 2. Apply through hole and surface mount technology requirements.
LO 3. Demonstrate wire and terminal assembly requirements.
LO 4. Implement general soldered connection acceptance requirements, including lead-free.
