Course Rationale
One of the main responsibilities of engineers is to solve problems quickly and effectively. The unit aims to give learners a strong foundation in mathematical skills associated to solve mathematical, scientific and engineering problems. These skills will help learners to successfully complete many other units in the early years of the engineering degree programmes.
