Course Description
The Master in Applied Inclusive Practices aims to offer an applied approach towards inclusion. This programme is intended for professionals working in schools, the community and the industry who wish to specialise in inclusion and diversity studies to further their education and career.
Learning Outcomes:
Evaluate critically inclusion policies and practices.
Lead inclusively and emotionally in educational and social care settings.
Integrate interdisciplinary perspectives from psychology, education, sociology, and related fields to better understand the self in roles within educational and care contexts.
Undertake a practice placement utilising a reflective approach.
Design and implement intervention strategies to promote inclusivity in educational and social settings as part of an applied intervention project
Entry Requirements:
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field
And
A First Degree (Level 6) in Inclusive Education.
Or
A First Degree (Level 6) in Social Sciences within an area deemed relevant to inclusion.
